Spotlight: 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV in Auburn, NY

Gone are the days of underpowered electric vehicles. Chevrolet is reimagining what a pickup truck can do with its first-ever 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV. This electric pickup delivers robust performance, advanced technology, and sharp styling. It is available for ordering now and will start arriving at Auburn Chevrolet Buick GMC in the spring of 2023.

Electric performance

The Silverado EV will be breaking boundaries with its impressive electric performance. With wide open watts, the Silverado EV is expected to have an output of more than 660 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of torque. It also boasts 0-60-mph acceleration times as fast as 4.5 seconds.

Charging options

Chevrolet estimates the Silverado EV will offer 400 miles of driving range when fully charged.[1] When you do need to recharge, the Silverado EV will have multiple charging options.

  • Home: At home, you can use the available Level 2 charging or Level 1.
  • On the go: When you are away from home, the myChevrolet Mobile App with Energy Assist can help you plan your route and find charging stations. Use Level 2 charging stations or DC Fast Charging to get an estimated 100 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes.

Rugged handling

All Silverado EV models will come standard with an E-4WD system that sends impressive torque to all four wheels at the same time. Add in the available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension for a supremely comfortable ride that automatically adjusts to the road conditions.

There is also an innovative, available Four-Wheel Steer system that angles all four wheels when you turn. This gives the Silverado EV a smaller turning radius and also makes parallel parking or other tight maneuvers far easier.

Towing capabilities

When properly equipped, the Silverado EV will offer up to 10,000 pounds of towing capabilities. Chevrolet says a future WT model will be able to handle up to 20,000 pounds.

No matter what you're towing, the up to 14 available camera views can help make it easier and safer. These views help with hitching, maneuvering, and monitoring your trailer.

Super Cruise™

If the idea of driving hands-free on the highway sounds exciting, you will love the available Super Cruise™ technology in the Silverado EV. Once activated, you can take your hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads across North America. This technology even works while towing.

Interior essentials

The Silverado EV is an advanced truck with industry-leading technology. Inside, it comes equipped with a 17-inch central touch screen with customizable features and Google built-in. This gives you quick access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play. Just say, "Hey Google…" to get started.

Thanks to not having a transmission, the Silverado EV comes with an impressively large center console with lots of space to stash your personal items. The cup holders slide back to reveal the storage space. There is also a large, available panoramic fixed-glass roof that gives the cabin a bright, open feel.

Cargo versatility

Just like other Silverado trucks, the Silverado EV offers impressive cargo versatility. The standard bed can carry items nearly 6 feet long. Add the available Pass-Through option with the 60/40-split folding rear seats, and the Silverado EV can hold cargo up to 9 feet long.

With the available Multi-Flex tailgate, the cargo-carrying capabilities stretch to 10-feet 10-inches. This tailgate features six positions that give you more cargo flexibility and makes it easier to access your cargo and get your work done:

  • Primary gate
  • Primary gate load stop
  • Easy access
  • Full-width step
  • Inner gate load stop
  • Inner gate with work surface
